The Porsche 918 Spyder will be coming out later this year, so it is an exciting time for Porshce with its new hybrid supercar. The car will have some stiff competition with Ferrari’s LaFerrari and McLaren’s P1. The new 2014 Ferrari California has been caught on video testing at the Fiorano test track. The car is wearing a small amount of camouflage, but it is unmistakable that it is a Ferrari California. The car looks and sounds good on the track and should be a good one to drive.

Last year news surfaced that Porsche may be releasing a new Targa version of the 911. While a Targa version has existed for a while, it has been since the ’80s that we have seen a true removable hard top on the car. The more recent versions have been what most would consider cars with very large glass sun roofs.

The Mazda MX-5 is the current king of the affordable open top sports cars. Ferrari is testing the Ferrari F150 and the car has been spotted at the Fiorano Circuit. The new Ferrari F150 is expected to debut at this years Geneva Motor Show. The new Ferrari supercar is expected to be a 7.3-liter V12 hybrid with up to 950hp.

The replacement for the Enzo Ferrari has some very bug shows to fill, but it looks like Ferrari may have something great in the works. The 991 variants of the Porsche 911 GT3 and Porsche 911 Turbo are two very much anticipated new 911s. The GT3 has always been basically a race car for the street where the Turbo should provide 911 owners with supercar level performance. These cars are currently in the prototype phase and undergoing hard testing.
