Porsche 911 GT2 RS Driving On The Track – Video
Posted by: David Hurth / Category: Porsche, Racing, VideoYesterday, I posted a video of Jay Leno driving a Porsche 911 GT2. The standard GT2 is about as close as you can get to a race car for the street. I say just about because the Porsche 911 GT2 RS is even closer to a race car for the street.
The above video shows off the Porsche 911 GT2 RS driving around Silverstone. The car in the video is a club sport so it is even lighter and comes with a half cage for the track. The Porsche 911 GT2 RS is so fast that on just 9.4 seconds it can rocket you to 124MPH from 0. Plus with a top speed of 205MPH you won’t find very many cars on the road that will be faster.

The 911 GT2 RS has always been my favorite Porsche. When turbos first came out, I was not a big fan of them, but since the perfection of them, I do like them now. I also love the launch system on this car. I once owned a ’72 911 S, and at the time it was called the turbo beater (referring to the first Porsche Turbo), and it was a monster in it’s day. Thanks for the video.
